In the fall of 2020, Maura took on the role of co-leadership on a team that took on the challenge of executing a rebrand of our academic program’s social media. Maura has been instrumental in the proposal pitch to grow the existing audience through creative, compelling and persuasive content supported by analytics on current engagement and interaction as well as a thorough assessment of competitors that are a benchmark.
The team conducted several iterations to arrive at the final branding that supported a consistent and exciting identity package throughout all channels including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, program homepage and university landing page. Challenges related to fonts, colors and themes were received professionally, followed by the team’s quick turnaround with new designs. Maura demonstrated effective communication, sharp problem-solving, adaptability and creative idea exchange. Furthermore, the team developed a process for social media storytelling including a submission portal, feature days, posting templates and content approval tasks.
This professional and polished rebrand has made a tremendous impact on our elevated messaging to current students, alumni, industry, employers and prospective students. In addition, we’ve seen improved metrics on our reach, engagement and amplification.
